THE RHINO LODGE
The Rhino Lodge is close to the centre of Sauraha village and is
located on the peaceful, read-edged banks of the gently-flowing Rapti river. The
entrance to the national park is situated in Sauraha and the village is the base
for visitors to start exploring Chitwan. ti lies 165 km south of Kathmandu and
can be reached by bus, car, plane or raft-whatever your preference.

ACCOMMODATION
The rhino Lodge offers comfortable, en-suite double rooms in thatched
safari-style huts. Situated around the shady, landscaped garden, the leafy trees
and bright flowers attract many birds and butterflies. Each room has its own
balcony with views across the river, to the jungle and over o the hills beyond.
At dusk, sit and relax after a day of activities in the park and watch the boats
and the elephants, fishermen and farmers emerge from the jungle and make their
way home as the sun begins to set on the horizon.

RESTAURANT
The Rhino Lodge menu consists of Nepali, Chinese and continental dishes as
well as a wide vegetarian choice and a well-stocked bar, All food is
hygienically prepared with utmost care and boiled filtered water is available.
Friendly, competent, English-speaking staff are always available to attend to
all request and needs. The Rhino Lodge maintains a welcoming, family atmosphere
so guests will feel always at home and have a thoroughly enjoyable time in
Chitwan.
